The veil
One tool, four moves. Switching between them moves the camera, not the page: it is the same key, the same books and the same water.
deposit
A deposit is public and assumed — you are putting money in, in the open. What is private is everything after it. In exchange you get a note: a sealed receipt only your key opens.
—
hold
Your balance is not a number on chain; it is the notes your key can open. Paste a key to derive its public half and its view key — the one you hand an auditor. A view key opens a history. It cannot spend.
dive
This is the part no other shielded pool does. Your note funds a trading address that has never been touched by your wallet, a relayer pays its gas, and you trade HIP-3 from it.
coming home
A desk that comes back half-closed is a live address that keeps being watchable, and the residue is a number only its owner could have chosen. So the protocol refuses halves instead of warning you about them.
swap
Swapping inside the veil cannot be one trade per person, because one trade per person is one footprint per person. Intents are collected into a window and sent to the venue as a single swap, and the price that swap actually got is the price everyone in it gets.
